Medical DosimetristAs a medical dosimetrist, Lynne makes sure all radiation treatment is delivered as accurately and safely as possible. She takes care of treatment planning and simulations, during which she carefully evaluates patients with a CT scan so that precise tumor position is marked prior to radiation. This important process is designed to limit impact to healthy body parts.

Lynne values the environment at CCND for the companionship and support the team gives cancer patients. By taking time to talk and listen to patients, she and fellow staff members hope to soothe the sense of fear and loneliness that can accompany a cancer diagnosis. Lynne also eases the stress of treatment by giving her patients thorough explanations of the simulation and set-up process and pays special attention to making sure patients are as physically comfortable as possible while receiving treatment.
