Joy, RN BSN OCN
Joy is an oncology RN at Cancer Center Of North Dakota. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. Joy has been an oncology-certified nurse since 1991. Prior to starting at CCND in 2005, she worked at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks for 17 years.
As a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, Joy helps to keep professionals educated on new information. Joy works closely with CCND physicians in cancer treatment and also provides direct patient care. She administers chemotherapy and supportive care medications and offers patient education and support.
Joy's role in the treatment process ensures that patients and their individual needs always come first. Her kind manner and constant support make this overwhelming experience more manageable. After nearly three decades of oncology nursing experience, Joy has terrific enthusiasm and true passion for what she does.
She is grateful for the huge impact patients she has met have had on her life and says that knowing these patients is precisely the reason she loves oncology.
Becca is an oncology LPN at Cancer Center of North Dakota. She earned her degree in Practical Nursing from Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks, Minnesota in 2010. Becca worked in urgent care before joining CCND in 2012. As a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, Becca stays up to date on new development in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Becca assists in many aspects of CCND patient care, working alongside the professional staff. Becca enjoys the comfortable and hopeful environment at CCND, and strives to provide prompt service so that patients have more time to do the things they enjoy. She enjoys the comfort and kindness that comes from the staff working together to provide exceptional care to patients.
Becca lives in East Grand Forks with her husband, Justin, and daughter, Mia. She enjoys reading, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
Keely, RN BSN ONC
Keely is an oncology RN at Cancer Center Of North Dakota. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Prior to joining CCND in 2014, Keely worked with the inpatient oncology program at Sanford in Fargo and with Altru in Grand Forks. She is a member of Oncology Nursing Society.
Keely provides quality patient care and administers chemotherapy and other medications. She also provides patient education and support. Keely enjoys the small, patient-oriented atmosphere at CCND. She enjoys getting to know patients and their families and strives to provide kindness and respect. Keely enjoys working in a place with good teamwork where the patient comes first.
Keely and her husband Erik enjoy spending time with family and friends at the lake with their dog, Mango.
Gina, RN BSN ONC
Gina is an oncology RN at the Cancer Center of North Dakota. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of North Dakota. Prior to joining CCND, Gina worked on the inpatient oncology floor at Altru in Grand Forks. She is an active member of Oncology Nursing Society and is Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certified.
Gina offers quality patient care by creating a warm and nurturing environment during the administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other medications. She also provides education and support to patients and family. Gina appreciates working with a cohesive staff who strive to deliver world class care.
Gina and her fiancé, Brady, live in Grand Forks where they enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
Shelby received her Practical Nursing Degree from Lake Region State College at their Grand Forks, ND site in July of 2015. She worked/continue to work as flex staff at Valley Eldercare Center on their Transitional Unit.
Shelby assists in many aspects of CCND patient care, working alongside the professional staff. Becca enjoys the comfortable and hopeful environment at CCND, and strives to provide prompt service so that patients have more time to do the things they enjoy. She enjoys the comfort and kindness that comes from the staff working together to provide exceptional care to patients.
Shelby lives in Grand Forks. She enjoys going to the lake in the summer with her family, reading, trying new recipes, and spending time with her friends, family, and her cat.
Nica, RN BSN
Nica is an oncology RN at the Cancer Center of North Dakota. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Before becoming an RN, Nica worked as a student nurse at CCND. She is now a member of the Oncology Nursing Society.
Nica provides quality patient care and administers chemotherapy and other medications. She also provides patient education and support. Nica enjoys the small, patient-oriented atmosphere at CCND. She enjoys getting to know patients and their families and strives to provide kindness and respect. She enjoys working in a place where the patient comes first and outstanding teamwork is always present. Nica enjoys all of the connections she has made with patients and coworkers and looks forward to each day at CCND.
Outside of work, Nica enjoys exploring the outdoors, traveling, cooking, and spending her weekends with family, friends, and her dog, Turk.
Erin, RN BSN
Erin is an oncology RN at the Cancer Center of North Dakota. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of North Dakota. Prior to joining the CCND team, Erin worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Altru. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society.
Erin provides quality patient care and administers chemotherapy and other medications. She also provides patient education and support. Erin enjoys the small, patient-oriented atmosphere at CCND as well as getting to know the patients and their families. Erin enjoys working in a place where the patient comes first and outstanding teamwork is always present.
Erin and her boyfriend, Luke, live in Grand Forks with their two dogs (Mila and Nellie) and cat (KeeKee). They enjoy traveling, going to the lake, renovating their house and spending time with friends and family.
Specialty: Radiation Oncology
From a medical perspective, Dr. Noyes has found that the challenges and complexities of cancer have made radiation oncology a fulfilling and demanding specialty. And, because of the profound effect the cancer experience has on patients and their families, he is constantly challenged at a human level as well.
With both aspects in mind, Dr. Noyes makes certain that all patients understand their condition and the treatment plan taking an educational approach that unites patients with the CCND healthcare team in the fight against cancer. The spirit of teamwork extends to the patients’ family, to whom Dr. Noyes also offers comfort and shares information.
Dr. Noyes is a board-certified, radiation oncologist and his clinical experience includes: IMRT, 3D Comformal Radiotherapy, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Brachytherapy and HDR Brachytherapy. He is active in the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American College of Radiation Oncology and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Noyes is a native of Cando, ND, and a graduate of the University of North Dakota’s School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Gundersen Clinic in La Crosse, WI, and his residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinic in Madison.
Patients and families appreciate Dr. Noyes’ availability, approachable nature and experience. He focuses on giving clear answers and ensuring everyone understands the treatment process.
He and his wife have two daughters and are happy to live and work in Grand Forks.

Lindsey joined Cancer Center Of North Dakota team in spring of 2007. She is a native of Hibbing, Minnesota, and received her degree in radiation therapy from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
Lindsey is proud to be part of a cancer center that is recognized for its top-of-the-line technology and patient-focused care. She enjoys the team approach and dedication to warm, welcoming, and compassionate care for each patient.
Lindsey enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Jane, RT (R)(T)
Jane is a Radiation Therapist at Cancer Center of North Dakota. She has degrees and advanced training from University of Minnesota Crookston, United Hospital – Grand Forks Clinic School of Radiologic Technology, and Washburn University School of Radiation Therapy in Topeka, Kansas. Jane was at Northland College before coming to Cancer Center of North Dakota in 2013. As a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT), Jane keep current with the latest procedures and therapies.
In the warm and friendly atmosphere of CCND, Jane works with Dr. Noyes to deliver radiation treatment to patients. She also helps perform PET and CT Scans. Jane believes in providing compassionate, confidential, and individualized care to patients.
In her free time, Jane loves being with family and friends at the lake. She likes working out and cooking. Jane and her husband Lon have three children.
Maureen, RT (R)(CT)(MR)
Maureen joined CCND in May 2014. She is originally from Walhalla, ND. As a registered Radiologic Technologist, she specializes in CT and MRI scanning. She worked at Altru Hospital and Red River Imaging prior to coming to CCND.
At CCND Maureen performs many of the PET and CT scans requested by the physicians.
The patients are Maureen's first priority. She strives to achieve the best images for each of them while keeping them informed and as comfortable as possible.
Maureen enjoys working at CCND. The patients have shown her that having a great attitude when facing a crisis can be so important and helpful in caring for them. Maureen also works very hard in treating each individual with respect, kindness, and sometimes a little humor along the way.
Maureen lives in Thompson with her husband Don. They have four children and three grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and working in their yard.
Ashlyn is a Radiologic Technologist at the Cancer Center of North Dakota, where she performs CT and PET scans. She received her associates degree at Northland Community and Technical College in East Grand Forks. She is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). Ashlyn enjoys the patient-oriented atmosphere at CCND, and enjoys getting to know the patients and their families. Ashlyn strives to provide compassionate care and devoted time to each patient she meets. She looks forward to each day ahead at CCND. Ashlyn and her Fiancé, Preston, live in Grand Forks with their two dogs (Gracie and Bo). In their free time, they enjoy traveling, hiking and spending time at the lake.
Ashley, Business Transaction Specialist/Administrative Assistant
Ashley is a certified professional coder since November 2017. She is grateful to be a part of the CCND team where everyone is amazing to work with, including the patients. Everyone’s positivity is truly inspiring and I feel very fortunate to be included. She lives in Grand Forks with her significant other Michael and two children, Nora and Hayden. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, drawing, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is also attending UND to obtain Ph.D. in forensic psychology.
Becca, Administrative Assistant
Becca is an Administrative Assistant at Cancer Center of North Dakota. She is in charge of scheduling appointments for patients, making sure patients’ paperwork and charts are up to date. Her voice is also the one you hear when you call CCND. Becca has worked here since 2015.
Becca enjoys how CCND is like family away from family. She greets patients and always makes sure they feel welcome and comfortable. CCND and its amazing providers are always here for patients and their needs. Becca has always enjoyed working and helping people who need it the most and wants to make sure they are satisfied and content.
Becca feels that spending time with her family is the most important thing.
Becky, Administrative Assistant
Becky has worked here for one year as an Administrative Assistant. “When I see patients everyday, it’s like I have known them for years and I’ve only been here a short time. It’s like one big family here.”
In my own time, I love to spend time with family and friends. In the summer especially when you can be outside and barbeque and have fun.
Kellie, Social Worker
Kellie is the Social Worker at Cancer Center of North Dakota. She has been here since June of 2016, after completing her BSSW at The University of North Dakota. Kellie connects patients to community resources and patient assistance programs.
Kellie enjoys cooking, and staying active. She also loves spending time with her family, friends, and her cat Zeke. She lives in East Grand Forks and will be attending graduate school at UND to obtain her Masters in Social Work.

Specialty: Hematology/Medical Oncology
Dr. Anil Potti graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery Degree from the Christian Medical College and Hospital in Vellore, India.
He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of North Dakota’s School of Medicine in Fargo, ND, where he also served as a chief resident. After spending more than seven years in the Red River Valley region, he pursued Hematology/Oncology training at Duke University where he was also a faculty member for four years.
He is a board certified Medical Oncologist who takes special interest in serving patients with blood and cancer problems. As an alumnus of the University of North Dakota, he has received numerous awards including the Alpha Omega Alpha award, Resident of the Year award and several Outstanding Teacher of the Year awards.
Dr. Potti looks forward to dedicating his efforts to helping cancer patients and their families in this region; “the weather may be cold but the people are sure warm.”
